A Jefferson County man is suing over claims he was injured in a collision in Beaumont.
Cornelius Simpson filed a lawsuit Nov. 25, 2014, in Jefferson County District Court against Lekethy Roshell May Rogers and Ruby Pyeatt.
According to the complaint, Simpson was driving eastbound on Sabine Pass Avenue on Nov. 28, 2012, when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Rogers and owned by Pyeatt. Simpson says he sustained injuries.
Simpson seeks more than $100,000 in damages. He is represented by attorneys Ryan M. Schaper and Cody Dishon of Provost Umphrey Law Firm in Beaumont.
