A man is suing over claims he was injured when another driver in Beaumont collided with his vehicle. 
Ronald Janisse filed a lawsuit March 27 in the Jefferson County District Court against Maria Jiminez, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Janisse was driving eastbound on Calder Street in Beaumont on March 28, 2012, when Jiminiez, who was traveling westbound, failed to yield the right of way and collided with the plaintiff’s car, causing injury.
Janisse is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limit of the court.
He is being represented in the case by Beaumont attorney John D. West.
